Bakuretsu Con 2008 - October 23
- 26, Bakuretsu Con, the original Green Mountain Anime Convention, will be held from October 23rd through 11th at the Hampton Inn and Conference Center, Colchester, Vermont. For developing information, visit their webpage at http://www.bakuretsucon.org/
Hirai Shinji, the Governor of
Tottori Prefecture will be visiting Vermont for a one day stop- over on
Friday June 27th en route from Brazil where he joined in the
Celebration of Japan-Brazil Exchange Year and the 100th Anniversary of
Japanese Immigration to Brazil. While in Vermont, he had the
opportunity to visit with officers of Champlain College, the University
of Vermont, and Governor Douglas in Montpelier where the two Governors
signed a friendship agreement. Governor Shinji also had a brief visit
with former Governor Dean whom he had met several years ago while
Governor Dean was visiting Viet Nam and Japan. Barbara Ailes has
